Reservation Table at Event. For anyone wishing to contribute more or
sooner, please do so. You can call 704-644-7800 to let us know or
come by the American Legion - Post 353 after 5:00 pm any night to drop
off your gifts.
Supplies or Gifts Needed for
our Troops, and our Vets at the VA Hospitals: We are in need of a
number of items that would make their lives better. We will be getting
ready to take these items up to the VA Hospital in Salisbury the last
week of November. For the Troops we would like for everything to be
ready to go and some of the final footage from the Winning Event
12/10/08 to be sent out to our Troops by 12/15/08. We need simple
gifts such as some of the following suggestions.
Large bottles of shampoo, body
wash, body lotion, shaving cream, twin blade razors, deodorant,
toothpaste, hair brushes, chap stick, combs, bar soap, diabetic socks
(Lg sizes), Men's & women Cologne, Denture adhesive and cleaner,
Cards, stationary, and Pre-Paid Calling Cards. (as you will note some
of these items are for the Vets while many are for both)
These gift will lighten the hearts
of our precious defenders and send the message that we DO care and
will never forget them.
We could really use help in DVD
Duplication. Anyone willing or able to donate time or money for the
duplication of these DVD's we are creating for our Troops, we need to
hear from you now.
